Facebook will take down any misleading posts related to the COVID-19 Vaccine. They have made this sure in a blog post.

Though Facebook had started this anti misinformation campaign the previous year, they expanded the list in order to make it more practical.

The Social Media Giant reported that it has been working on these crucial factors related to the COVID-19 Vaccine, such as:

  • COVID-19 is man-made or manufactured
  • Vaccines are not effective at preventing the disease they are meant to protect against
  • It’s safer to get the disease than to get the vaccine
  • Vaccines are toxic, dangerous or cause autism

Facebook also mentioned that ‘they are continuing to improve their search results’ so that whenever someone searches for ‘vaccine’ or ‘COVID-19 Vaccine’, they promote better and more accurate results.

However, these measures may also affect negatively up to certain extents for new research regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. Also, older posts from Health Organizations may also get removed.

Last but not the least, Facebook has also taken a number of other measures including $120M in ad credits for boosting and promoting health information related to the vaccine.

COVID-19 Vaccine

We all know covid-19 started in china. A deadly virus that has killed millions in 2020 and still killing in 2021 also. Moreover, it keeps mutating and becomes more deadly. 3.91 million people have already died because of this virus. So, we all should be very careful if we want to survive this virus. In the current time, any type of misinformation about this virus could very deadly and we all know social media is the grandmaster of misinformation.

That’s why Facebook is becoming more strict about what people can post about corona and corona vaccines. Facebook is going to delete any kind of post related to COVID-19 if that post spreads misinformation. We all should be more careful and try our best to be safe. We should help others in this deadly situation and we should not believe whatever we see on social media platforms.

Fun fact: China is now corona-free 🙂.

Things you should do before going out:

First of all, try staying inside the home and don’t go out if it’s not necessary but if your toilet paper runs out then while going out you must wear a musk, sanitize your hand, spend some time with your family and off you go to buy toilet paper. Please please for the love of God don’t remove your mask when you are outside and make sure the mask covering your mouth and nose don’t wear the mast on your head like a headband 😑 and don’t keep that mask swinging on your neck. Try staying away from people and a large gathering. Don’t touch your nose and eyes even if it is itchy.

Things you should do after coming home:

When you come inside the house don’t look anywhere wash your hand with a good hand wash, sanitize your body and the product that you bought from outside. Take a shower and wash your clothes. Try to stay away from your family member for the next 8 hours.

  2. High fever
  3. Tiredness
  4. aches and pains
  5. Headache
  6. sore throat
  7. lost of smell and taste
  8. difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  9. chest pain or pressure
  10. loss of speech or movement

If you see all of these symptoms in yourself don’t wait a bit more and go for a corona test. The fast you find corona and start treatment the fast you will recover.
